Coldplay’s “A Head Full of Dreams” tour was the spectacle of 2017 — but most of their fans would never get to see it live. We positioned VR as the way in: the largest global VR livestream concert performance and production in history.

Samsung and Live Nation partnered to make the Gear VR headset the ultimate ticket to the best gig on earth — an exclusive concert livestream accessible worldwide via Gear VR and Samsung devices, turned into a global cultural moment.

Production ran 17 stereoscopic 360° VR cameras, 14 4K cameras, 12,000+ feet of fiber and two satellite trucks across five cities on three continents — broadcast to 50+ countries, with live viewing events in Canada, Brazil, Korea and the U.S.
